Redditch Borough Council has launched the 2026 Heritage Open Days programme, inviting residents and visitors to explore local history through a 10-day festival of free events, tours, exhibitions, talks, and activities.
Heritage buildings, community organisations, and local attractions will open their doors during the event. Residents who attend three or more events can enter the Heritage Hunters competition for the chance to win prizes.
What's Available
The programme offers opportunities to visit heritage buildings not normally open to the public, discover hidden local history, and learn about the people and places that have shaped the borough. Activities are designed for all ages, from history enthusiasts to those looking for a free day out.
