Redditch Borough Council is inviting residents to complete the annual My Neighbourhood Survey, which launches on 10 August and closes on 21 September at 9am.
The survey gives residents the chance to share their experience of living, working, and spending time in their local neighbourhood. Feedback collected will inform the Council's future priorities, decision-making, and service planning across the Borough.
What happened last year
In 2025, feedback from the My Neighbourhood Survey (formerly called the Places Survey) led to investments in street cleansing equipment, the identification and tackling of fly tipping hotspots, and the purchase of new waste collection vehicles.
How to take part
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and is available at https://www.redditchbc.gov.uk/MyNeighbourhoodSurvey
Council Leader Cllr. Matt Dormer said: "The My Neighbourhood Survey is an important opportunity to have a direct say on what matters most in your local area. I encourage everyone to take part – to tell us what we are doing well but also what can be improved. The more people who complete the survey, the better we can understand the needs, priorities, and experiences of our residents."
The Council is keen to hear from a wide range of residents to ensure results reflect the views of communities across the Borough. Community groups, local organisations, and businesses are being encouraged to help spread the word and encourage participation.
