Culture Central has been appointed as the delivery partner for the Local Cultural Sector Skills and Capacity Development Programme in Redditch, following a tender process led by ReNEW.
The appointment forms part of the Shaping Futures strand of the ReNEW project, which aims to strengthen and support the region's cultural landscape through development opportunities and collaborative working.
What the programme will offer
Culture Central will lead the delivery of training, learning, and professional development opportunities for practitioners already working in the cultural sector locally. The programme will be tailored to respond to current and emerging needs, helping cultural organisations and practitioners adapt, innovate, and thrive in a changing sector.
Council and sector support
Redditch Borough Council Leader Cllr. Matt Dormer said the investment supports practitioners and organisations to build the confidence, knowledge, and capacity they need to succeed.
Petro Nicolaides, Chair of the North East Worcestershire Cultural Compact, said Culture Central's track record makes them well-placed to deliver a programme that responds to local sector needs.
Culture Central brings extensive experience in sector development, leadership programmes, and cultural partnership working.
